There are many benefits of becoming a member of the TCISPA, including training, continuing your professional development and keeping up to date on current issues, that impact the accounting professional both here in TCI and around the world.

Also by meeting other accountants from TCI you it's a great opportunity to extend your professional network and even open up further career opportunities in the islands.

In order to become a member you must meet the following criteria:

  1. be a professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CA etc.) or be on a professional training program for one of those qualifications
  2. be living and working as an accountant in the Turks & Caicos Islands.
    Evidence of the applicants legal status in the Turks & Caicos Islands (i.e. Turks & Caicos Islands citizenship or naturalisation, permanent residency with the right to work as an accountant or work permit holder)

The annual membership fee is $50.

Student Members

Requirements


  • Evidence of the standard of education that the applicant has attained which, as a minimum, must comprise that sufficient to enable the applicant to become enrolled in an organised program of study relating to accountancy, together with evidence of such enrolment
  • Evidence of the applicants legal status in the Turks & Caicos Islands (i.e. Turks & Caicos Islands citizenship or naturalisation, permanent residency with the right to work as an accountant or work permit holder)

The annual membership fee for students is $10.

Members in Public Practice

Requirements


In addition to the requirements for members as detailed above, members wishing to engage in public practice must be registered with the Turks & Caicos Islands Financial Services Commission as a Designated Non Financial Business and Professional.
